In the distribution process, more than 1,000 people have received the flu vaccine suspected of being exposed to room temperature.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that the number of vaccination cases in question was counted as 1,362 cases in 15 regions nationwide.

Among these, the vaccine supplied by the government procured amount was inoculated to 122 patients in nursing hospitals in Incheon, and two of them in their 80s and one in their 90s were confirmed to have died one after another.

Health officials said the results of expert advisory meetings on death were judged to be death from worsening of the underlying disease, rather than a link to flu vaccine.

In addition, it was revealed that the vaccine supplied to this hospital had been confirmed to have maintained an appropriate temperature throughout the distribution process.
