30-year-old Kim Mo, who said he would sell a dehumidifier at Used Nara, a used trading site during the rainy season this summer, the longest ever.



They were arrested last week, and the victims amounted to 16 million won.



The crime continued even during the police investigation.

When exposed to fraud damage information sharing sites, 15 accounts and 10 phone numbers were used for the crime in 3 months, such as creating a new Internet bank account.



The used trading site has no authority to filter out fraudulent traders.

Unlike voice phishing crime, where a financial institution can immediately stop paying an account at the request of a victim, secondhand transaction fraud does not have a basis for preventing damage through immediate intervention by a financial institution.

Used trade fraud crimes nearly doubled from 46,000 in 2014 to 90,000 last year, and three people were arrested per day for collecting 230 million won from 700 people in second-hand countries. Legislation needs to be supplemented to prevent fraud.
