While the Navy was searching for the body of an official of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries who died after being attacked in North Korea, Socheong Island found an object believed to be a life jacket at sea, but it was identified as a plastic float.



According to the Incheon Maritime Police Station, today (28th) the naval aircraft is an object that is believed to be a life jacket while searching for the body of a fishery instructor A (47) belonging to the West Sea Fishery Guidance Management Team of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, who disappeared on the 21st at the southeast coast of Socheong-do, Ongjin-gun, Incheon. And reported to the coastal police.



Upon receiving notification from the Navy, the sea police found the object in the waters southeast of Socheong Island, but it was identified as a plastic float.



A maritime official said, "It is about 30cm wide by 10cm long," and said, "The orange plastic object in the shape of a round was cut in half, and it was determined that it was not a life jacket."
