The maritime police are continuing a intensive search on the nearby seas today (27th) to find the bodies and belongings of officials of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries who died after being attacked in North Korea.



It is a method that targets the sea near Yeonpyeong Island, divided into 8 areas.



The search range is from the west of Yeonpyeong Island to the southern sea of ​​Socheong Island.



In the search, a total of 39 ships, including 29 ships from the Coast Guard and the Navy, and 10 fishing guidance ships, and 6 aircraft were put into force.



The Marine Police put four 500t class ships, three 300t class ships, and six small ships, 13 ships and 2 aircraft, and the Navy put 16 ships and 4 aircraft respectively.



Ongjin-gun and others also mobilized 10 fishing instructors to search.



This is an enlarged scale compared to yesterday's search.



The Coast Guard said yesterday that it will analyze the VDR of Mugunghwa 10, where the missing officials were aboard, to check if any audio records remain.



Meanwhile, North Korea warned to stop today, saying it is invading North Korean territorial waters in the course of its search operation.
