WhatsApp. The next novelty: messages that erase themselves without leaving a trace
Apps. This is the change in appearance and the new options that WhatsApp prepares
WhatsApp prepares a new function that will complement messages that self-destruct: photos that are deleted after being opened by the recipient.
Thus, once viewed, they will disappear without a trace and will not be stored on the device they have reached.
The images that self-destruct have, for the moment, the name
Expiring media
(something like files that expire) and will also include gifs, according to the WABetaInfo portal.
For now, it is not known if the function can also be used with videos.

When the tool is available, a circled 1 icon will appear after selecting an image to send.
If pressed, the photo will expire (you cannot choose the time that passes until it disappears) and it will also disappear from the chat.
Unlike messages, not even a text will appear indicating that it has been deleted.
For now, it is not known when the images that self-destruct will reach WhatsApp, since they are only available in version 2.20.201.1 of the beta for Android.
Nor has a way been implemented to warn if a screenshot of the photo is made, so for now the self-destruction would not be complete.
WhatsApp on various devices
What does seem to be coming soon is the possibility of using the same WhatsApp account on up to four different devices.
This function has been under development for a long time and its main novelty will be that it will allow you to use WhatsApp Web without the need for the main phone to have an internet connection.
Thus, according to WABetaInfo, the messaging application is already preparing to allow the first users to have access to a functional beta to test it and polish possible errors.
In addition, the most relevant functions, such as synchronization or the possibility to mute chats, already work.
