According to information from Europe 1, the police arrested, Monday afternoon in Saumur, the alleged perpetrator of two rapes, one on a nine-year-old girl and the other on a 73-year-old woman.
The little girl was kidnapped and raped Sunday, in Villiers, north-west of Poitiers, "before being released by her attacker less than an hour later", relates France 3 Nouvelle Aquitaine.
About 40 officials were mobilized throughout the weekend for this operation.
