big fire broke out in the morning of today (21st) at the Cheongnyangni Fruit Market in Seoul.

Fortunately, no one was injured, but before Chuseok, 20 stores with lots of goods suffered a lot of damage.

Red flames that seem to devour a building constantly soar into the sky with black smoke.

A big fire broke out at the greengrocer market in Cheongnyang-ri, Seoul, around 4:30 in the morning.

The fire, which is believed to have started around the whole chicken shop in the traditional market, spread to the next greengrocer market, and it took about 7 hours to completely turn off.

Some merchants who came out from dawn received an app or text notification and evacuated. Fortunately, there was no human injury, but a total of 20 stores and warehouses in the market were burned.

It's inside the fruit shop on fire.

As you can see behind me, the ceiling has completely collapsed, and the ashes-covered fruit remains unorganized on the store floor.

[It's the highest peak from today.

It took the peak day.]

Due to the Corona 19 aftermath, there was no business throughout the year, so I only waited for Chuseok, but all the fruits that had to be sold were burned out due to unexpected fire.

[Kim Chun-Shim/Fruit Store Merchant: All stores don't have Chuseok.

The business is actually very bad.

I asked if it would be okay for Chuseok, but this year is too hard.

Die, die...

A merchant who has sold apples in the fruit and vegetable market for over 10 years is burning.

This is because even if the fruit does not burn, it will change its taste due to the smoke and must be disposed of.

[Fruit Store Merchant: There are a lot of apples in the warehouse.

I was ready now to see it.

It should be considered that it contains almost 50 million won.

But who knew this would happen.]

Police and fire departments are scheduled to conduct a joint investigation tomorrow morning to investigate the exact cause of the fire.
