The National Pension Service has expressed its apology for the incident of inhaling cannabis by an employee of the Fund Management Division.



Kim Yong-jin, chairman of the National Pension Service, issued a statement today (20th) and said he apologized for breaking the trust of the people, and said that he would come up with measures to renew the industrial complex.



Chairman Kim then stressed that he would review the overall operation of the complex and apply the zero-tolerance principle to deviations or illegal activities.



The Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency is currently investigating four employees of the National Pension Fund Management Headquarters for smoking cannabis without being arrested.



After an internal audit, the Corporation held a disciplinary committee and dismissed them on the 9th.
