At about 4 pm, the Seoul Metropolitan Government filed a complaint with the Seoul Central District Court requesting compensation for damages of 4.62 billion won to Sarangjeil Church in Seongbuk-gu and Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said, "Corona 19 has spread throughout the whole country, including the metropolitan area, due to violations of the Infectious Disease Prevention Act, such as aiding and interfering with epidemiological investigations and submitting false data," he said.

The church said that some of the losses caused by the decrease in the amount of use of buses and subways in Seoul should be addressed, but the policy is to receive overtime expenses for the church members and officials invested in the total visitor survey.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government also counted the total damages caused by the infection from Sarangjeil Church to Seoul Transportation Corporation, Seoul's autonomous districts, health insurance corporations, and the government totaling 11.3 billion won.

Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon and the church immediately objected.

These lawyers said, "I lie unfounded that the origin of the infection that occurred nationwide is the church."

They also argued that the quarantine authorities were responsible for not preventing the spread of the virus, and that they should compensate the public.
