<Anchor> The number of
new corona19 confirmed cases in Korea increased by 153 per day yesterday (16th).
The health authorities believe that the number of confirmed cases fluctuates according to the outbreak of group infection, and requested that quarantine regulations be followed to prevent group infection.

Out of the 153 new confirmed cases, 145 cases occurred in Korea.
There were 62 confirmed in Seoul, 52 in Gyeonggi and 7 in Incheon, and 121 were confirmed in the metropolitan area alone.
At Kia Motors' Sohari Plant in Gwangmyeong, at least 11 people, including eight employees and their families, were confirmed and the plant was shut down.
The number of confirmed cases related to the K-health industry, a mask manufacturer, increased by six more as the third infection came out.
Four additional confirmed cases related to Sinchon Severance Hospital in Seoul were also added.
The reason the number of confirmed cases does not decrease is because there are not a few latent infections in the community.
The first confirmed cases were also found in the pre-emptive tests that the Seoul Metropolitan Government has conducted on the general public and hospital workers without symptoms.
Along with this, health officials have called for vaccinations, saying that the days are cooler and the daily temperature difference is widening, increasing the risk of getting influenza, or flu.
