On the night of the 30th of last month, Yeongro Bridge, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.

An SUV driven by a man in his 50s, A, collided with an armored vehicle of the US Army ahead, and both the couple A and the other couples in their 50s were killed in the SUV.

As a result of the autopsy, it was found that driver A's blood alcohol concentration was in the 0.1% range, which was higher than 0.08%, which was the standard for license cancellation.

The fact that the SUV was speeding at 100 km/h, exceeding the speed limit of 60 km/h at the time of the accident was also revealed through vehicle data recording device and black box video analysis.

Mr. A was sitting in the back seat and swapped the steering wheel with another man, Mr. B, who rode just before entering the Yeongro Bridge.

Both were drunk, but they were driving in turns.

At the time of the accident, the U.S. military was reported not to deploy escort vehicles in front of or behind the armored car line, but police said it was not a violation of the law.

[Police officials: According to the Road Traffic Act, there is no such regulation as'you must attach an escort vehicle when moving an armored vehicle.']

However, after the 2002 Hyosoon-i and Mi-seon-i incident, the agreement between the two countries stated that an escort vehicle must be accompanied in an agreement between the two countries. Police said they were checking the content because there were claims that it was included.
