Yen Li-Meng, a virologist at the University of Hong Kong, who has claimed that Corona 19 was made at the Wuhan Institute in China, released a paper supporting his claim yesterday (16th).

Our medical reporter Dong-chan Jo checked the newly published thesis with a domestic expert.

This is a thesis published by Yan Li Meng.

We provided three reasons that COVID-19 was artificially created.

First, Corona 19, unlike a virus isolated from a bat, has a specific part of the SARS virus in 2003, so its spreading power has increased, but it is difficult to see it as a natural phenomenon.

However, a domestic expert stated that the view as a natural phenomenon prevails.

Second, there is evidence of the use of genetic scissors, claiming that it is conclusive evidence to prove artificiality.

However, a domestic expert refuted that first of all, the genetic scissors did not leave a trace and that if they had been used, they would not have been cut and pasted as complicatedly as Corona 19.

Third, if there is only a specific site that helps penetrate human cells, that is, the'purine cleavage site', but it is a natural phenomenon, then why is it not in other viruses?

However, the purine cleavage site has also been identified in the MERS virus, so this area seems to be wrong.

Yan Li Meng's thesis is unlikely to prove his claim.

However, the debate is expected to continue over the announcement that additional papers will be released.
