KIA explained its plans for electric driving on Wednesday.

The South Korean brand plans to introduce seven new all-electric cars over the next seven years and to reach a quarter of its sales from electric models by the end of the decade.

KIA's electric range will include various body styles, from SUVs and crossovers to sporty lines.

Under the skin, the future cars share their technical basis in the form of the so-called Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) of KIA.

In addition, the car brand wants to set up its own charging points and build service stations for electric vehicles.

In Europe, 2,400 new charging points are currently planned.
