Ten years ago, a 20-year-old young man who served as a medical police officer in Incheon took his own life.

In March 2010, medical police officer A, Lee Kyung, who was assigned to a security patrol at the Namdong Police Station in Incheon, made an extreme choice within two months of deployment.



The bereaved family suspected of cruelty in the unit, but it was not recognized in the police's own investigation and subsequent lawsuits against the state.



However, a reversal took place in the investigation of the military fatality investigation committee, which began at the request of the survivors.




A It was confirmed that Lee Kyung had suffered harsh acts in the unit.



A. Lee Kyung-eun was instructed by the seniors to clean all the dishes of the company within 10 minutes, and he heard criticism that a recruit would drop out of work when he received medical treatment at the hospital for symptoms of pneumonia.



A Lee-kyung complained of depression and received psychiatric consultation twice at the police hospital, but there was no action at the unit level.



On May 5, 2010, when he was working alone, Lee Kyung ended his own life.



Based on the findings of this investigation, the Fact-Investigation Committee requested the police last month to handle Lee Kyung A's death job, and the police also accepted.

A Lee Kyung's body has been stored in the housekeeping room of Gachon University Gil Hospital in Incheon for more than 10 years, and it is expected to be buried at the National Cemetery in the near future according to the decision to retire.
