<Anchor> The

police applied for an arrest warrant to an elementary school baseball coach on suspicion of child abuse.

It is known that the young pupil was forced to avoid avoiding the ball flying from the pitching machine, and because of this, he even hit the other arm of the student with a baseball bat.

Reporter Kim Jung-woo reports.

<Reporter> It

was less than four months after entering the baseball club when my 5th grade son, who had dreamed of a professional baseball player, suddenly said he didn't want to go to school.

[Mother A: She put her head in the window and kept hurting herself.

Even after sleeping at night, I wake up and cry and cry.

They said they thought they might die.]

The reason for the refusal to attend school was the'bizarre assault' of the baseball team coach Kang Mo.

In the fall of 2018, coach Kang set up Army A in front of the pitching machine, saying that we should eliminate the fear of the ball.

Group A, whose left hand was hit by a fast ball from the pitching machine, had a bone crack.

By the time the bones on the back of his left hand were attached, he was beaten by a baseball bat, and this time he had to put a cast on the fingers of his right hand again.

According to parents, it wasn't just Army A who was beaten by manager Kang.

Some students were taken to the hospital for a concussion after their head was beaten with a fist, and others were beaten to get a bruise on their hips.

[Gun B's father: Because it was hit with a fist, a big bump came in.

There is a symptom of being dizzy.

I went to the hospital to get a diagnosis, and I had symptoms of concussion caused by beating.] The

children who were beaten were even threatened by the director saying, "Don't tell your parents."

The police, who recently received a report and started an investigation, filed an arrest warrant for applying the charges of child abuse to Director Kang.

The truth began to be revealed late, but the wounds on the hearts of the victims and parents who lost their dreams and quit baseball have not healed.

[Gun A's mother: (The child) tells the story that her dream has been lost.

I've never really asked in detail about this one, never.

I think I was too afraid to know the truth myself.]
