The police, feeling suspicious, found that the name of the caller was a foreigner while checking the name of the caller and continued the investigation with a mobile phone dealer.




The police spotted the opening of hundreds of SIMs in the name of foreigners of Vietnamese and Chinese nationality at the agency, and many of them moved to China. In addition, before committing a voice phishing crime in earnest, it was judged that the work was done to lay the groundwork in Korea, and the investigation was expanded, and finally, we succeeded in catching the authors of false reports.



The arrested gang members included 1 mobile phone sim manager used for voice phishing, 1 passport collection book to open the sim, 3 vendors who opened the sim, and 1 delivery book that passed the opened sim to China. 8 people.



As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that there was one victim who had already been voice phishing by this party. It is known that the amount of confirmed damage amounted to about 20 million won.
