doctors ended a few days ago, but the problem of medical students who refused the national examination for doctors has yet to find a solution.

The government has repeatedly stated that relief is difficult, saying that people must have consent first, but it is possible that the situation will change as some medical students have expressed their intention to stop group action.

This is reporter Kim Hyung-rae.

<Reporter> The

National Medical School and Medical Graduate School Student Association held a private meeting today (9th) centering on representatives from the 4th grade.

The agenda was whether or not to continue to reject the doctor's national examination as the group closure of the major was completed.

It is reported that the meeting was heated when the results of a survey saying that more than 80% of fourth-year students in Seoul National University are opposed to test refusal, while the president of the Medical School Medical Association said that the medical student relief is a political solution.

The government is sticking to the existing policy that there are no additional applications.

[Song Young-rae/Ministry of Health and Welfare Spokesperson: There are aspects that violate equity and fairness.

If the public's consent is not preceded, it is not a matter that can be easily decided by the government.]

Professors of medical schools such as Seoul National University and Catholic University set out to mediate.

[Lee Kwang-woong/Professor of Seoul National University Hospital Hypertrophy Chairperson: (Ministry of Welfare) Is this a position that cannot be proposed without re-application?

(Students) Even if the nuance of being able to consult once more if they come back...

Currently, it is not easy to come up with a solution, but as the Ministry of Health and Welfare stated that medical students have not officially announced their intention to take the test, we cannot rule out the possibility that the discussion will change if medical students change their positions.
