Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon of Sarangjeil Church, who led a large-scale assembly on Liberation Day, is reincarnated due to the court's decision to cancel bail.

According to the legal community, Section 34 of the Criminal Agreement of the Seoul Central District Court (Deputy Judge Heo Sun-ah) accepted the prosecution's request today (7th) and decided to cancel bail for the former pastor.

It has been 140 days since the former pastor was released on bail on April 20th.

The prosecution will command the execution of the job site this morning, and will put the former pastor back in jail.

However, grasping the whereabouts and attitude of the former pastor can be a variable.

The judge explained the reasons for the cancellation that the former pastor violated the bail condition.

Earlier, the court granted the former pastor's bail and imposed various conditions, such as a restriction on residence, a pledge not to destroy evidence, and no contact with persons involved in the case.

Among these were the conditions that "you must not participate in any assembly or demonstration that may be related to the case (in trial) or that is illegal."

The judge seems to have determined that the former pastor violated this condition by participating in various meetings after release.

The court also confiscated the 30 million won deposit paid by the former pastor in cash.

Pastor Jeon was prosecuted in March this year for pre-election campaigns (violation of the Public Official Election Act) and defamation of President Moon Jae-in ahead of the 21st general election.

The former pastor arrested during the investigation was released on bail during trial.

However, on the 16th of last month, the prosecution filed for cancellation of bail because the former pastor violated bail conditions such as attending the Gwanghwamun assembly.

However, when the former pastor was confirmed for Corona 19 on the 17th of last month, the decision on whether to cancel bail was postponed.

He was treated and discharged on the 2nd of this month.

The court decided to cancel the former pastor's bail without going through a separate interrogation process.
