huge amount of soil pours down along with trees uprooted from the hills above the retaining wall of the apartment.

Three vehicles parked below were quickly buried in a pile of dirt.

The residents who were filming this scene hurriedly closed the window and didn't know what to do.

[Apartment residents: The soil poured down four or five times as if a waterfall was pouring out while ‘ruffing’ at once.]

The soil, estimated to be about 600 tons, swept the parking lot and the apartment vacant lot and blocked the entrance.

Some household verandas and elevators were also damaged.

The wire mesh built on the retaining wall has become tattered like a torn net, and muddy water constantly flows through it.

The landslide occurred around 7 in the morning.

When the sediment flowed down, there was a rain of over 60mm per hour here.

Fortunately, there was no human injury because it was before rush hour, but 90 people from 75 households in 106 buildings covered with soil and sand were evacuated with the help of 119 rescue teams.

[Park Min-sang / Resident: On the first floor, firefighters made it through the rear glass window to climb down ladders, so they finally got out.] In

other apartments nearby, soil flows down from the mountain above the 20m-high retaining wall, covering the veranda on the first floor, etc. In Geoje alone, three apartment retaining walls collapsed.

In addition, in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, a landslide occurred in a mountain behind a metal processing plant, and 50 units that were working inside the plant were buried and rescued in an hour and a half.
