Police detained in their thirties for job scams against hundreds of job seekers.

The Gwangju Provincial Police Agency's Intelligent Crime Investigation Unit announced today (7th) that he arrested a 30-year-old suspect A on charges of hijacking job seekers with a large sum of money (such as fraud) to trick job seekers to get a full-time job at a Kia Motors plant.

A is accused of hijacking money and money by tricking the victims into hiring the victims as full-time production workers at the Kia Motors plant together with pastor B, an accomplice from 2018 until recently.

The police filed for an arrest warrant and was issued by the court due to the serious cause of death and fears of escape and destruction of evidence.

Some estimates that the number of victims of this job fraud amounted to 650 and the amount of damage exceeded 15 billion won.

The police have received more than 10 damage statements so far.

They are known to have received tens of millions of won each in the name of a security deposit by fooling job seekers by saying,'If you decorate the documents as if they were employees of a partner company, Kia Motors will immediately recruit full-time employees from the partner company.'

Mr. A and Mr. B met through the introduction of another church pastor, and they deceived the victims by introducing a false person as the president of a partner company or by presenting false documents related to the Kia Motors plant.

Mr. B denied the charges, saying he was a victim who was deceived by Mr. A, but the circumstances of taking advantage of the crime were revealed and arrested.

The police banned Mr. A from leaving the country and arrested him on the 4th after continuing to pursue and hide.

In a police investigation, Mr. A is said to have admitted most of the charges.
