Seoul's Yeongdeungpo Police Department announced on the 4th that it had charged a man in his 50s for assaulting passengers who requested wearing masks on the subway and sent an indictment opinion to the prosecution.



Mr. A is accused of assaulting two passengers who asked him to wear masks, etc., on a train passing near Dangsan Station on Seoul Subway Line 2 at around 7:25 am on the 27th of last month.



Mr. A choked the victim's throat and even hit the face with the slippers he was wearing.



Mr. A, who threw an umbrella in the train and ran and ran into a riot, was arrested as an active criminal by the police on the way.



It is said that Mr. A made a statement to the effect that he hit passengers because he was angry at the request to wear a mask during a police investigation.
