The nod to the superhero that the American actor embodied was actually planned for a long time.

The game update from Epic Games, launched on August 27, includes a partnership with Marvel which provides for the arrival of several superheroes in the game, such as She-Hulk, Storm or Thor.

Fortnite has integrated a monument with the effigy of Black Panther!

Despite the particularly astonishing timing, Epic Games clarified that this statue was already planned, and was not intended as a tribute to Chadwick Boseman.

The death of the actor precipitated the arrival of the statue

The “Panther Monument” was to be added later.

But the sudden passing of Chadwick Boseman precipitated matters.

"We are, like everyone else, deeply saddened by the death of Chadwick Boseman," confirmed Epic Games.

"The Black Panther monument arrived this morning, and it's part of a storytelling we had already planned for Season 4."

Players of the game can find loot boxes by climbing up the famous statue.

Others also go there simply to pay tribute to the actor, as evidenced by several images and videos broadcast in recent days on social networks.
