Typhoon Mysak No. 9, which landed in Busan about two hours ago, is currently penetrating the interior of Yeongnam at a high speed.

About an hour ago, the eyes of the typhoon, the center of the typhoon, are passing in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. First, I will connect a reporter covering Daegu.

Reporter Nam Hyo-joo from TBC, please tell us the current situation.

<Reporter>

I am now at the Doosan 5-Fork in Daegu.

The rain went into a lull for a while, but the wind is getting stronger.

Even now, as we deliver the news, strong winds that make it difficult to control the body continue to rush.

As the rain and wind blow for 2-3 hours like this, the damage continues.

In Daegu Hyomok-dong and Chilseong-dong, there were instantaneous power outages within 5 minutes, and 66 reports of damage from strong winds were received, including a telephone box falling.

Street trees fell in four places, including Guku-dong, in Buk-gu, and emergency drainage work took place in the lowlands.

Road control sections are also increasing.

From Gachang Bridge to Beopwangsa Temple, the 2.3km section on the left bank of the Sincheon River is controlled, and traffic is restricted to 31 bridges including 7 Jamsu Bridges.

In addition, 5 trains on the Gyeongbu Line between Busan Station and Dongdaegu Station were also suspended.

The Daegu City Office of Education has adjusted the school hours for local elementary, middle and high schools to 10 am today, due to concerns over typhoon damage.

Daegu is at its peak from now until 5 am, and there is a great concern about damage to facilities such as the corona 19 screening clinic installed outdoors and construction sites due to strong winds.

In addition to this, it seems that there will be more rain of 100~200mm in the future.

You need to be extra careful until this typhoon escapes to the east coast.
