Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon, who had been hospitalized after being infected with Corona 19, announced that he will be discharged from the Seoul Medical Center in the morning of today (2nd), 16 days after hospitalization.
Pastor Jeon was recently tested negative for Corona 19 twice.
Pastor Jeon decided to hold a press conference at Sarangjeil Church in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, for the first time after discharge, criticizing the failure of national quarantine.
Earlier, the prosecution requested the court to cancel bail, claiming that the former pastor encouraged him to participate in the Liberation Day rally, and the government also accused the former pastor of violating the infectious disease prevention law.
Meanwhile, merchants around Sarangjeil Church decided to file a class action lawsuit against the church, claiming that they had lost their business due to the church's non-cooperation in quarantine.
