Typhoon Mysak came close to Daegu at around 4 a.m. and now gradually moves away and the rain has completely stopped.



The wind is still blowing, but it is gradually fading.



From a little later on, it seems that our region will gradually escape from the influence of Maisack.



However, due to the rain and wind that struck overnight, typhoon damage continued in Daegu.



There have been 85 reports of damage from strong winds, such as broken windows in apartments and a phone box falling due to strong winds.



A street tree fell and struck over a parked car, and emergency drainage work took place in the lowlands.



In Daegu, the maximum instantaneous wind speed recorded 17.8m per second, and more than 80mm of rain fell overnight.



Road control sections are increasing.



The 2.3km section of Sincheon Jwaan River Road from Gachang Bridge to Beopwangsa Temple has been controlled from midnight today, and the 0.8km section between Doosan Bridge and Sangdong Bridge from 4 am, and the 4.8km section of Sincheondong Road between Mutaegyo and Dongshin Bridge are also restricted to vehicle traffic.



Currently, the water level of Chilseong Bridge has reached 2.25m and is being controlled.



The sky road was also cut off.

At Daegu Airport, 12 flights to and from Daegu and Jeju were canceled in the early morning of today (3rd).



Five trains on the Gyeongbu Line between Busan Station and Dongdaegu Station were also suspended.



The Daegu City Office of Education has adjusted the school hours for local elementary, middle, and high schools to 10 am today, due to concerns about typhoon damage.
