"What if the #hunter is not what we think?" On social networks, the National Federation of Hunters has just launched a communication campaign in the form of a web-series of eight clips highlighting a gallery of very different characters. The objective: "Break the codes, go beyond stereotypes concerning hunters and question the often vindictive opinion about hunting".

"Looking for an escape? "," Thrills? "Or" new experiences? This series of advertising clips posted on social networks explains how hunting reveals "the true nature" of "real people". The tone is easily offbeat, the characters often not very credible and the situations sometimes grotesque ...

"Make lie the famous sketch of the Unknowns on the ashy galinette!" "

"This digital communication campaign relayed on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram was carried out to react and dust off the image of hunters", explains the National Federation of Hunters (FNC) on its site. "Enough to make lie the famous sketch of the Unknowns on the ashy galinette!" », Specifies Emmanuel Blacque-Belair, communication director of the FNC.

“Hunting is too good to die of incomprehension and nature without hunters could not survive very long. Through this digital communication campaign with a deliberately offbeat tone, we have decided to show who we are in life, strong in the diversity of those who practice different hunting methods while assuming our passion which brings us back to basics ”, also explains Willy Schraen, President of the National Federation of Hunters.

"So, how's my quinoa deer?" "

Between August 20 and 24, the FNC thus posted eight advertising spots featuring women, CSP +, young people and a retiree. In one of the videos, a woman from a rather wealthy background says to her friend for whom she has cooked: “So, how is my quinoa deer? And in another clip, a teenager supposed to represent a suburban girl plays hunting horn in a city, talking with a hunting friend. "Observe yourself, you check the techniques and you get started!" “, She explains in particular.

These videos, a bit cliché, did not fail to make Internet users react on social networks. "The most cheesy thing of 2020," commented one Twitter user. “Incredible… The actors, the dialogues, etc. It's totally lousy! Thank you for this moment, ”commented another net surfer.

Incredible 😂😂😂 The actors, the dialogues, etc ... It's totally lousy! Thank you for this moment @WillySchraen @ChasseursFrance. It was definitely worth the cost 👌 You demonstrate once again that you are part of the old world 😉

Videos and initiatives on the Web are set to continue, because the FNC is increasingly relying on social networks, in which it was not very present but which it is gradually investing.“We also work with influencers. We want to modernize and explain hunting, and influencers have a committed community that can be very useful ”.
