Last night 28 confirmed cases were poured out at the Sunglim Baptist Church in Gakhwa-dong, Gwangju, where the confirmed patient went.

Including them, the number of new confirmed cases in Gwangju a day was 33, the highest since the outbreak of Corona 19.

Gwangju No. 284, believed to be the leading source of infection, was a woman in her 60s and was confirmed after attending a rally in Gwanghwamun in Seoul on the 15th.

It was confirmed that they attended the service three times during the two days following the meeting visit, the 16th and 19th.

As the test results have not yet come out, there is a high possibility of additional confirmed cases.

The quarantine authorities are also investigating the possibility that the source of infection 284 may not be one, considering the spread of the infection in a short time.

The city of Gwangju held an emergency meeting last night, presided over by Mayor Yong-seop Lee, and began to prepare measures.

At 11 am today, we plan to convene a joint public-private countermeasure committee to decide whether to raise social distancing in the third stage.

If Gwangju City decides to upgrade to the third stage, it will be the first case in the country.

Since the re-proliferation of entertainment bars on the 15th, 104 confirmed cases have occurred in Gwangju over 12 days, and the average number of confirmed cases per day is approaching 10.
