Today (22nd) was the last time to play in the beach this summer. Beaches such as Haeundae in Busan were closed yesterday, and all beaches nationwide will be closed from tomorrow.

This is Song Seong-jun reporter.

<Reporter> This

is Gujora Beach in Geoje, Gyeongnam.

The atmosphere is not as old as it was due to the early closing of the large beaches in Busan.

[Summers: It feels so good just to come out, but it seems that the summers are very careful, so we are going to play quietly.] The

nearby Wahyeon beach is also quiet .

The parasols on the sandy beach are empty.

Even the summer vacationers gathered without wearing a mask are easily noticeable.

[Summer: Uh, I'm going to use a mask now.] As the

corona crisis spreads across the country, this year's beach water fun season is the last day (22nd).

Due to the government's reinforced quarantine measures, all beaches nationwide are closed from midnight today.

As the second stage of social distancing has expanded nationwide, 108 beaches that are currently open have also decided to close.

Amenities such as showers and changing rooms, toilets and umbrellas are all shut down.

Merchants around the beach opened late due to the corona crisis, and their sales plummeted due to the longest rainy season in history, but they are depressed by the news of the sudden early closing.

[Geoje Gujora Beach Merchant: Because of the rainy season and the corona, people didn't come, but as it spreads more, I think I'm losing too much this summer.] As the

government does not block swimming in the water even if the beach is closed, safety and quarantine until the original closing day We decided to keep the management at the same level.
