This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of Roscosmos.

"According to the main operational control group of the Russian segment of the ISS, on Friday, the crew members of the station will move to the Zvezda module in order to organize pressure control in the modules of the American segment," the corporation said.

It is noted that the decision was made jointly with the United States.

During their stay on the Russian segment, the crew intends to carry out regular work.

“There is no threat to the crew and the station,” Roscosmos stressed.

A source from the agency previously reported that a small air leak was detected on the ISS, presumably in the American segment, which does not threaten the safety of the crew.

In July, NASA announced the resumption of the search for a benzene source on the ISS.
