The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 20th that it would completely ban all gatherings of 10 or more people from across the city from 0 o'clock on the 21st to 24 o'clock on the 30th.

The ban on gatherings of more than 10 people is equivalent to the government's step 3 of social distancing.

Until this day, assembly of more than 100 people is prohibited in the metropolitan area in accordance with the second step of social distancing.

The city explained, "Seoul is a place with the highest concern about the spread of the nth infection due to its high population density and floating population."

The city will prosecute the assembly organizers and participants for violating the ban to the police.

Seoul Mayor Seo Jeong-hyup said, "Please actively cooperate with the banning measures to protect the lives and safety of me, my family and neighbors."
