Recently, the situation was revealed that the mobile phone numbers of female students attending Yonsei University, Kyunghee University, and Chung-Ang University were leaked, and students are preparing to accuse.

The perpetrator writes a text message saying "○○○?" and asks for a meeting with the name of the girl who is the owner of the leaked number (○○○).

The Yonsei University Student Association announced today (18th) that, "We are going to recruit cases of damages from female students in the school and file a group accusation" through a Facebook post.

The Student Association analyzed 76 cases of damage received for two weeks from the 31st of last month, and found that the perpetrator was using more than three phone numbers.

However, one of these phone numbers was used for most text messages.

The contents and patterns of the text messages sent by the perpetrators are similar, and it was confirmed that more than one-third of all cases of damage occurred in a specific department, the Student Council said.

Victim A, who received such a text message on the 19th of last month, said, "I don't know the number, but when I asked who I was because I knew my name, I was sorted out and stored, so I asked if he knew it. Did you go to Yonsei University?" Said.

Another victim reportedly spoke with the sender for about 20 minutes.

The person who sent the text is known to have said in the call that he was a 13th grade student in the Department of English Literature at Yonsei University, who served as the head of Akaraka, and is now working as a public servant.

It is said that he even became angry when the victim refused to meet him, "Why is it difficult to get along with me?"

The Student Council said, "I inquired about the case handling at the campus human rights center, but I received an answer saying that the investigation can only be conducted if the perpetrator's identity is a certain member of Yonsei University. So, on the 14th, we held an interview with the Seodaemun Police Station."

“The police suggested that the case is a violation of the Personal Information Protection Act and proposed a group accusation in order to resolve the case as soon as possible,” and asked the Student Council to report on the case of the damage.

The student council said, "This case is a serious matter that may have leaked not only the name and contact information, but also the entire personal information of Yonsei University students. We are working hard to solve the case in order to prevent further damage that may occur in the future." Revealed.

According to the university, it is known that other schools such as Kyung Hee University and Chung-Ang University suffered the same damage.
