Firefox could soon take a back seat to Mozilla's projects and plans. Gradually losing the showdown against Google Chrome, the browser deployed by the Mozilla Corporation could be scrapped, reports Presse-Citron .

The recently developed services not paying as much as hoped, the Mozilla Corporation, which takes care of the development and the marketing of Firefox, would consider refocusing on other projects. The Mozilla Foundation affiliate already intends to part with 250 employees, a move that will affect Paris-based employees.

But the company's situation, even before the health crisis, was not looking good. Seventy employees have already been laid off before the start of the epidemic.
