At a press conference this morning, Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon argued that it is not illegal to participate in the Gwanghwamun assembly even if the person is not subject to self-isolation and is subject to quarantine.

At the same time, he said he was convicted of spreading false facts and defaming the Minister of Health and Welfare Park Neung-hoo and acting mayor Seo Jeong-hyup who accused the former pastor.

The quarantine authorities immediately refuted.

On the 15th, a public official in Seongbuk-gu personally visited Sarangjeil Church and delivered a notice of self-isolation from Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon, and two hours later, the church received a receipt.

Following the prosecution's request to the court yesterday to cancel bail against the former pastor, more than 240,000 people agreed to a petition for the Blue House calling for the former pastor to be redeemed.

However, the trial process for deciding whether to cancel bail is expected to be delayed.

Even if the court decides to cancel the bail, there is a high possibility that the former pastor who is a confirmed coronavirus will receive quarantine treatment at a medical facility for the time being and will be arrested again after cure.

It is expected that the court will determine the method or timing of interrogation regarding Pastor Kwang-hoon Jeon's bail cancellation while monitoring the progress of the treatment.
