Opening doctors from the Korean Medical Association, doctors majoring in university hospitals, and full-time doctors went to the streets for a general strike for a day.

The organizers estimated more than 20,000 doctors and medical students gathered here in Yeoui-daero wearing masks and face shields.

The reason is that the government's health care policies, such as expanding medical school quotas and the payment of herbal medicines, were quickly made and unacceptable.

[Maximum House/President of the Korean Medical Association: I have thrown my body and mind without asking for anything with a sense of mission to protect the lives and safety of the people. However, the government poured out the four major evil medical policies in surprise... ] As of

5 pm today, about 11,000 of the 33,000 local hospitals nationwide, about a third, participated in the strike.

Unlike last week's major group leave, the emergency room and other essential medical personnel did not participate in the strike.

However, some patients had to turn around due to a sudden break in a local hospital.

government is the position that will inevitably expand medical school garden.

[Park Neung-hoo/Minister of Health and Welfare: I think the plan to expand medical school quotas is a necessary policy to resolve the shortage of doctors and regional gaps.]

If there is no change in the government's position, the second general strike for three days from the 26th Declared that it would enter into.
