victims who have suffered a water crisis have no time to rest this holiday season. A helping hand is desperately needed at the affected site, but it is said that the number of volunteers has decreased significantly before the holiday season. In addition, as the shelter is far away, more and more people skip meals among the elderly living alone.

Volunteers who visited the flood site two days ago wash the clothes piled up like a pile of clothes with their own hands.

Since the electricity was cut off and the washing machine could not be run, several volunteers worked together to do hand washing.

However, today (14th) ahead of the holiday season, the number of these volunteers has greatly decreased.

The number of volunteers from 2,300 two days ago has dropped by more than 70% to 600 today.

There is still a lot of work to be done to restore crops, but I can only sigh to see if the number of volunteers is decreasing.

[Gangjeom-dong/Namwon-si, Jeollabuk-do: Ban-myeon: The day is so hot, I smell it now and I'm worried. It's good if you can come and help me to end it soon because the holidays are over... .] The

number of elderly people living alone who cannot eat and eat due to their homes becoming sloppy are increasingly starving for meals.

The distance from the house to the shelter is more than three or four kilometers, so somebody has to drive them, because there are no volunteers to move them.

[Soon Boo/Ban-myeon, Namwon-si, Jeollabuk-do: I have to go to the shelter to eat, but people without a car are very painful. If you don’t have a car, if you do something late, if you can’t go, you will starve for lunch… .]

Displaced people who cannot take a break even during the holidays are waiting for help, saying that they must hurry to recover.
