Democratic Party lawmaker Yoon Mi-hyang, who was accused of misappropriating the donation for the Justice Memory Solidarity, was present at the prosecution during the day yesterday (13th) and returned home this morning after being investigated for nearly 15 hours. Unfortunately, on the day of commemorating the victims of Japanese military comfort women, Rep. Yoon Mi-hyang was investigated by the prosecution.

Rep. Yoon Mi-hyang attended the Seoul Western District Prosecutor's Office at around 1:30 noon yesterday and finished the investigation at around 4:05 am and returned home. At the time of his return home, he was wearing a mask and riding in the passenger seat, and he was not asked any questions.

In May, the first summons investigation took place three months after the prosecution initiated an investigation at a press conference of Grandmother Lee Yong-soo, a comfort women victim who raised suspicion of personal misappropriation of donations, and accusations of civic groups.

The Seoul West District Prosecutor's Office said it had summoned Rep. Yoon, who is accused of embezzlement for business purposes, as a suspect.

It is reported that the prosecution focused on investigating whether or not he embezzled the funeral expenses of the late grandmother Kim Bok-dong when he served as the chairman of the Justice Memory Solidarity in private accounts against Rep. Yoon.

In addition, we are investigating whether there has been any illegal acts in the process of buying a shelter building in Anseong, Gyeonggi-do for 750 million won in 2013 and disposing of it for 400 million won in recent years.

Previously, the prosecution confiscated and searched the office of Eui-yeon, Mapo, and shelters in Anseong, and the related people were investigated in turn. The prosecution will soon review the recruitment policy and prosecution against Rep. Yun.
