driver was arrested after three marathon contestants who ran over 500km for six days were hit by a drunk vehicle and died, but there were no ending suspicions that there were many loopholes in the safety management of the contest.

After a month of investigation, it was confirmed as a result of an SBS interview that the police charged the organizer's federation president and secretary-general for negligence.

It was a drinking accident, but the accident prevention efforts were barely seen.

Most of the membership fee of 40 million won was spent on food and accommodation, and only 4% of the safety measures were spent, or about 1.3 million won.

Tents to check safety equipment were installed every 50 km, but there were no pre-trained safety personnel.

There was an accident right after passing through the tent, but there were no emergency measures until the arrival of 119, but there were no ambulances for the entire section, but it was investigated that only the phone number of the nearest emergency room was notified to the participants.

There is a rule that it will be penalized if you don't wear Gyeonggwangbong, but the police secured a statement that "because of the nature of the club, we couldn't give you any disadvantages."

The organizers insisted that they did their best in safety management, although there were some immature points.

[Organizer's official: It's very unreasonable to control every moment (in a vast section). It is wrong if the police force us to take responsibility.] Even

in 2007 and 2008, Ultramarathon participants were killed in traffic accidents, but the organizers have never been punished.

The police are planning to hand over two of the founders to the prosecution as prosecution opinions.
