The 5th typhoon'Rose' disappeared at 5 pm today (10th).

The Meteorological Administration said that the typhoon rose was weakened by a temperate cyclone on the land around 10 km northwest of Ulsan around 5 pm this afternoon.

It has been 38 hours since it occurred 600km southwest of Okinawa, Japan at 3 am on the 9th.

Although the typhoon disappeared sooner than expected, there are many places where rain clouds remain until night and temporarily receive strong rain.

It is expected that strong rain will fall in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do, Chungcheong-do, and Gyeongsang-do until 9 pm, and the wind is expected to blow very strongly at a maximum speed of 90 km/h on the east coast of Gyeongsang and southern Gangwon.

Tomorrow (11th), there will be rainy places in the central region, Jeolla-do, Gyeongbuk, and inland northwest of Gyeongnam, with the whole country being generally cloudy.

The Meteorological Administration urged special attention as it is highly likely to cause damage such as flooding of lowlands and agricultural land, landslides, and collapse of the stockpiles due to additional rains in a situation where the ground has weakened due to a lot of rain recently.

On the other hand, in Gangwon-do, Gyeongsang-do, eastern Jeollanam-do, and Jeju-do, there may be places where the daytime temperature rises above 33 degrees tomorrow (11th) with the heatwave warning in effect.
