The rainy season in the central region is the 49th day until today (11th), the longest Thai record ever. Up to 150mm of rain is expected in the central and Jeollabuk-do provinces by this morning, and it is predicted that rain will continue until the coming weekend.

Currently, the areas where rain is concentrated are in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Gangwon.

In particular, heavy rain warnings are issued in some areas including Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi, and northern Chungcheong areas such as Cheonan, and heavy rain warnings are issued in other parts of Seoul, Gyeonggi, Central and Jeonbuk, and northern Gyeongbuk.

The rainy season front that was pushed up to North Korea for a while due to the typhoon came down again.

However, the rainy season is not over yet.

The Meteorological Administration first predicted that by this morning there will be heavy rain in the central and Jeonbuk regions.

Estimated precipitation is 50 to 150 mm in southern Gyeonggi and southern Gangwon, Chungcheong and Jeonbuk, and 30 to 80 mm in Seoul, northern Gyeonggi and northern Gangwon.

In particular, the rain will slow down for a while tomorrow, but the Meteorological Administration predicted that it will continue to rain in Seoul, Gyeonggi and the Yeongseo region of Gangwon until the coming Sunday.

A full-fledged heat wave is expected in Yeongnam and eastern Jeollanam-do, which are free from the effects of rain clouds.

In Daegu and Gyeongsan, Gangneung and Samcheok, a heat wave warning is issued at 11 am today, and a heat wave warning is issued in Yeongnam, Gangwon, and eastern Jeollanam-do.
