Incheon City said that no larvae were found after July 22 as a result of monitoring the tap water supply pipeline.

This is the result of checking 14 water reservoirs, including the Gongchon and Bupyeong water purification plants, and 225 fire hydrants directly connected to the home.

In the results of monitoring 23 direct water pipes at the tap water use site, there were no larvae found in Gongchon water system after the 15th of last month and the 26th day when Bupyeong water system started monitoring.

According to this, the city of Incheon determined that the tap water larvae situation has entered a stable phase, and announced that it will resume school meals from this month.

Kindergartens and elementary, middle and high school meals in Seo-gu, Bupyeong-gu, and Gyeyang-gu, where water supply was discontinued from last month, are expected to resume.

Incheon City has announced that it will take steps to prevent recurrence of tap water larvae through sanitation management of water purification plants and reinforcement of facilities and experts.
