The police are speeding up the investigation amid a continuing truth battle over whether or not Chuncheon City has ordered an artificial aquatic island that triggered the overturning of a ship in Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, where three people died and three were missing.

The police are analyzing the victims' cell phones and vehicle black boxes submitted by the families of the missing persons, and at the same time investigating how Chuncheon City Hall and business officials were involved in preventing the loss of artificial water islands.

In addition, the CCTV inside the police boat that was salvaged the day before is digitally forensic, and by securing the CCTV around the Uiam Dam, we commissioned a national fruit tree to improve the picture quality.

A police official said, "We are reconstructing the situation at the time by integrating CCTV, cell phone call history, and official statements," and said, "We plan to investigate closely so that there are no suspicions about the accident."

Chuncheon-si and the families of the missing persons are sharply confronting the reason why they forced themselves to go to the Sucho Island with the dam opening the floodgate wide and discharging a huge amount of water.

Chuncheon City is in the position that there is no administrative basis for giving instructions amidst danger, as Sucho Island has been in a'continuance' situation since July 30.

However, the families of the missing persons and their bereaved are confronting that Chuncheon City is not surely answering the existence of documents ordering the suspension of construction, and that the company is also taking responsibility for managing the water island.
