This time, we will look at the situation on the way to work in Seoul. There were changes in the control situation of major arterial roads overnight. Connect with reporters on Jamsu Bridge.

Reporter Kim Sang-min, is there any change in the water level of Jamsu Bridge?

<Reporter> The

water level of Jamsu Bridge, which recorded 9m at the night of the 9th, is gradually lowering overnight, but I checked it a little while ago, and it dropped to around 8.29m.

Yesterday dawn, it went down to 6.7m, which is close to the vehicle's accessible water level, and the amount of discharge from Paldang Dam, which directly affects the water level in the central region, increased slightly, and then the water gradually disappeared.

However, it is too early to be relieved that the water level will continue to drop.

The key is the amount of discharge from Paldang Dam, and Paldang Dam still flows 8,000 tons of water per second down the Han River.

In addition, by tomorrow, up to 300mm of rain is expected to fall in Seoul, the area with the Bukhan River water dams that send water to the Paldang Dam, northern Gyeonggi and northern Yeongseo.

If the amount of discharge in Paldang Dam increases, the water level in the Han River will inevitably rise.

Now, the road to work on Monday will begin in earnest. What is the current control situation of major arterial roads in Seoul?

<Reporter> As the

water level of the Han River and Jungnangcheon fell, traffic control was lifted last night on some sections of Gangbyeonbuk-ro, Dongbu Arterial Road, Inner Ring Road and Olympic Highway.

The situation is better than last Thursday, when the traffic disruption occurred on the way to work, but the two sides of Nodeul-gil, including Jamsu Bridge, the upper and lower streams of Yeoui, and the southern end of Banghwa Bridge are under full control.

As you can see from the route introduced on the screen now, it is better to check the status of control on a site such as traffic information on the Seoul Expressway before going to work.

In addition, public transportation is also a way to reduce congestion, as Seoul has decided to intensively dispatch public transportation during the rush hour and delay the last train by 30 minutes until the heavy rain warning is canceled.
