Three excavators constantly pump up soil from the mountain.

The rubble from the ruined building is scattered throughout.

Yesterday (8th) at around 4:40 pm, a report was reported that a house was buried in a landslide in Gyodong-ri, Beonam-myeon, Jangsu-gun, Jeollabuk-do.

[Jang Ki-yoon/First reporter: I went up to the house asking if there was a flooded place. (From the original location of the house) It was covered with mud because it was about 10m.]

At the time of the accident, 59-year-old Gwon-mo, a husband and wife, who were nobles in the city three years ago, lived in the house.

The search work, which started in the afternoon, continued until late at night.

The site was covered with mud filled with moisture, so it was not easy for the searchers to take their feet.

Fire authorities recovered the couple's body at around 10:40 last night, six hours after the accident, and ended the search.

The homes in the accident appeared to be made of prefab sandwich panels rather than bricks, making them more susceptible to sudden spills.

The landslide was about 200m away from the village, so other houses were not damaged.

The government said it is expected to rain a lot in the Jeollabuk-do region today, and called for attention to residents of dangerous areas such as landslides and frequent flooding.
