A man in his 40s who drove hundreds of kilometers while imprisoning a female employee who wanted to quit the company in a vehicle for 7 hours was fined.

The Incheon District Court sentenced 41-year-old A, who was charged with confinement, to a fine of 5 million won.

In April, when Mr. B, a woman in his thirties who was an employee of the same company, said, "I will quit the company," Mr. A said, "Let's have a conversation." He got into the car and headed to Jeongdongjin from Incheon.

Afterwards, it was investigated that although Mr. B announced his intention to return to Incheon in Jeongdong-jin, Mr. A prevented him from dropping off Mr. B and then moved back to Busan for about 340 km.

The judge ruled that "the victim was put in a vehicle and confined for 7 hours, and the guilt was bad."
