As the scientist explained, "the vaccine works prophylactically, and antibodies work therapeutically."
"That is (if. - RT ) a person gets sick, instead of still having walnuts or peanuts, as you said, there are, it is better for him to inject ready-made antibodies, in order, accordingly, to block the virus," he stressed Gunzburg.
As the agency writes, earlier in the media it was reported that the condition of patients with COVID-19 can be alleviated by a high concentration of the ACE2 enzyme, which is found in wines, peanuts, pistachios and cocoa.
Gunzburg previously noted that particles in the COVID-19 vaccine cannot harm the body.
The clinical trials of the vaccine at the Gamaleya Center were announced on August 1. According to the Russian Ministry of Health, the vaccine will be registered on August 12.
