A 20-year-old police rescued an 8-year-old child swept away by a torrent. In the released CCTV video, there was a video that rescues a child in the rapids and rescues them with his hands.

According to the Uijeongbu Police Station on the 6th, around 4:40 pm on the previous day (5th), a report was received that children were drowning in Jungrangcheon, Singok-dong, Uijeongbu-si.

A 29-year-old Captain Go Jin-hyung, who was patrolling a nearby patrol car, immediately dispatched. It was difficult to enter the car to the accident site due to traffic congestion, so the Gyeongjang got off the car 200m and left for the river.

As soon as Captain Go discovered a group of eight-year-old A who was swept away by the rapids, he plunged into the water for rescue. It took more than 20 seconds to reach group A, which was struggling without power in the middle of the river.

Captain Go hugged Group A and moved to the riverside to begin an emergency.

The unconscious group A, after about 1 minute of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, fortunately vomited water and began breathing again.

"It was an urgent situation when the child drowned in water and drowned soon," said Ko Jin-hyeong.

The child was reportedly recovering after being taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and receiving parental care.
