It has been pointed out that yesterday (six days), one of the dead and five missing persons, was a human resource due to the fear of safety overturning an accident in the Uiam Lake.

In particular, it is a reaction that experts cannot understand about the work of damaging artificial aquatic islands in a dangerous situation when the dam opened wide.

At the time of the accident, yesterday morning, the ships were sucked through the gates of Uiam Dam #6, 13m wide and 14m high, and swept downstream.

At the time, Uiam Dam opened 9 of the 14 gates to a height of about 10 meters and was discharging 10,000 tons of water per second downstream.

In addition, the Chuncheon Dam and Soyang River Dam, located upstream of the Uiam Dam, opened the floodgates and poured a total of 7,000 tons of water every second, causing the entire flow rate of Uiam Lake to flow rapidly and vigorously.

In this situation, experts in the award-winning work called "out of common sense."

Seok-Beom Choi, a water resource engineer, explained, "At the time of dam discharge, the flow rate is extremely fast in the upstream or near the power intake, so we always install an access barrier to prevent danger. It is very dangerous for the ship to approach it."

He said, "Everyone knows that there is a high risk of being sucked in if you open the gate to Uiamam Dam and upstream dams. It is out of common sense to work there."

An official from the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Plant said, "If you open the dam gate, you can suck into a container as well as a good house." In this situation, it is difficult to understand how to give orders.

Prime Minister Jung Se-gyun, who visited the scene yesterday, said the police said the police were sinking while trying to fix the artificial aquatic islands while the dam was being released. I can't."

Earlier, yesterday, at about 11:30 am, three ships, including private rubber boats, Chuncheon City Hall administrative line (environmental monitoring line) and police boats, were overturned at Uiam Dam in the heart-shaped artificial aquatic islands rushing to the rapids. 1 of 8 Five people were missing and five were missing.

At the time of the accident, the Uiam Dam was discharged from the floodgates due to heavy rain for six days, and the overturned ships were sucked into the dam gate of 13m wide and swept downstream.

Eight people were onboard three accident vessels, and one was rescued dramatically after being swept by the floodgates of the Uiam Dam.

One of the remaining seven was rescued safely 13 kilometers from the accident site, but one was found dead and the other five were missing.

The search authorities mobilized 1,386 manpower, including 10 helicopters and 27 boats, and firefighters, police, soldiers, and civil servants at 6 am, to resume the search for the remaining 5 missing people.
