rained a lot on Seoul last night (5th) and today's dawn. In addition, as the dams upstream of the Han River opened the gates, the main roads of the city, including Olympic Boulevard and Gangbyeonbukro, were controlled. Due to the aftermath, Seoul was blocked like a highway on a holiday day all day (6th), and there were many people who couldn't arrive on time in the morning due to crowds of buses and subways.

First, reporter Cho Yoon-ha will tell you about the situation this morning.

Gangbyeonbuk-ro, Seoul this morning. Even though I had passed my rush hour, hundreds of vehicles filled the road.

As the road was controlled, a vehicle trying to get off the other road bite the tail.

Similar visually controlled roads resemble a ghost town.

There was a large puddle on the road where the vehicle was usually biting its tail.

There is a possibility of flooding with pouring rain, so this road has limited traffic.

It would have been full of cars if it had been usual, but it is empty now.

Some sections of major roads, such as Seoul Riverside North Road, Olympic Boulevard, Eastern Main Road and Internal Ring Road, were controlled from dawn.

The streets of the city suffered all day long as the roads around them were affected.

[Driver: The car is not going. Just stand. continue. How can't it be expressed? It's been over two hours now.]

[Tak Kyu-min / Songpa-gu, Seoul: It took over two hours from Jamsil to Shinchon. I'm on my way back to the children's hospital and I think I'm still far away.]

The crust was also continued.

[Yu Ji-eun / Seocho-gu, Seoul: I usually took a commuter bus to the Olympic Boulevard and it took only 20 to 30 minutes. (Today) I took about 50 minutes to work by public transportation. Some people who live far away have sent katoks saying that it is a little late.]

Traffic congestion continues until the end of the work day.

[Taxi driver: It takes 3 hours and a half to get to Dongsan from Dong Seoul Terminal, and the taxi fare is 52,200 won. It was so difficult.]

Some sections of the Olympic Boulevard, Gangbyeonbuk-ro, Eastern Main Road and Inner Ring Road are still under control without the water level of the Han River going down.

The police are putting more than 1,100 traffic police in an emergency to focus on traffic management on the way home.
