Last night, it rained a lot in Seoul and other metropolitan areas. As the water level of the Han River continues to rise, road control is increasing, and reporters on the Han River Diving Bridge are connected.

Reporter Jehee Hee, it seems like it's raining a lot right now?

The diving bridge here is getting thicker and thicker, and there is still a strong wind and rain.

Along with the rain, the river is blowing visibly.

The level of the diving bridge was over 8 meters around midnight, and now it is over 9 meters.

The flow rate is so fast that you can see the water getting colder.

The discharge of the Paldang Dam, which directly affects the Han River water level, has also increased to 14,000 tons per second at one time.

By the time this water flows down the Han River, the water level is likely to rise.

Control of roads around the Han River and around major rivers increased during the night, right?

<Reporter>

Yes. Starting at 9:25 last night, the two-way route from Yeomchang Naedokmok in Olympic-daero Bridge was controlled.

This is because the water level of the Paldang Dam has increased and the Han River water level has increased significantly.

Also, from 3 am today, the section between the Hangang Bridge and the Mapo Bridge at Gangbyeonbuk-ro is fully controlled in both directions of Ilsan and Guri.

From 2:20 am, the section of Seongsu Junction from Gunja Bridge on the Eastern Main Road is fully controlled in both directions of Seongsu Junction and Uijeongbu.

The direction of the Seongsu Junction in the internal circulation and Seongdong Junction in Majang are also fully controlled.

Some metropolitan areas have forecasts of rain over 300mm by tomorrow, so there is additional control, so you should listen to road conditions and weather information in real time.
