Six Uzbeks were confirmed in Corona 19 in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. Some of the confirmers attended Islamic religious events that gathered hundreds of people last week, but the video at the time confirms that they did not properly follow the rules of quarantine.

<Reporter> On the

31st of last month, this is an Islamic religious event held in a park in Cheongju.

I can see more than 300 people gathering and writing a guestbook.

However, they are sitting close to each other without keeping a distance of 2 meters.

Most of them wear masks, but many wear only chins.

Participants also shared food after the event.

[Reporter: There were quite a few people who didn't wear masks because they were so close that they didn't have any quarantine instructions.] On

the 3rd, two Uzbeks who were judged positive for Corona 19 attended the event three days ago. It was confirmed.

As soon as the quarantine authorities investigated 56 people who contacted them in restaurants and other places, it was confirmed that four additional confirmed persons emerged, and five except one were at Islamic religious venues.

In particular, all four additional confirmed patients are asymptomatic, and there is concern for quiet transmission in the area.

The entire community is nervous whether Cheongju will become the epicenter of corona19 re-proliferation, such as the infection of Shincheonji from Daegu.
